Error during client install: Internal Error 2753. alchemexpolicy.exe.90F918D7_ACB2_4268_A2AE_7F10A0B2488E

I resolved the install error by uninstalling the client and PFW, deleting the Platinum and PFW folders and deleting the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BIGenerator folder. Now the client installed without error.

opening a company in PFW gives this error: Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object. I saw a post about checking MDAC - this is Windows 2012 and MDAC is locked down.

Now get Run-time error '449': Argument not optional.

This message will appear if Sage Intelligence has been previously installed. In the future you can delete the alchemexpolicy.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BIGenerator folder prior to installing the PFW client.

The following should resolve this error if you are running on Sage PFW v5.9 and Windows 7: Windows 7 workstation and Server 2008: 1. Click Start in Windows 7. 2. Type "cmd" in the search box. 3. Right click on the cmd.exe program in the search results and choose "Run as Administrator". 4. Change to this folder by typing: cd c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\ 5. Hit ENTER 6. Type: "Regasm.exe c:\pfw\SMUSECUR.dll" (without quotes) (If you have installed Sage Payments Module SDK and Sage Exchange Desktop, register PFWAES.dll.) 7. Type: "RegAsm.exe c:\pfw\PFWAES.dll" (without quotes).

I'm looking for a way to export the data to a excel file. using ODBC.

All the raw data is stored in the Pervasive Control Center under the PFW_Company folder. You can export the data from Pervasive either into Excel or some customers have also used Access. The table file layouts are stored in the Platinum PFWRes Master Coretr.pdf.

I read somewhere that there is a conversion utility for FRX reports. Where can I get this utility?

We do not have a conversion utility for FRx to the PFW Intelligence reporting.

Hi. some of my user report error 53 when runing the Print and Post Distribution to GL . the error is: Error Code 53 Program APPDstGL Error Description File not Found we check in the GL Module and all the transaction was posted so any idea what is this error please. and how we can fix .

I would check for missing APPDSTGL.exe in the Platinum directory. We have seen in the past that a process runs successfully, then the next time you run it, it hangs. This is due to AV removing the .exe from the Platinum directory. The way to restore missing .exe files is to reinstall the AP module.

Thanks I check the directory of Platinum and the file is ther. I also have three company more and only in one I have the issue, now the end user is working in windows 7 and I have the vesion 5.6

I have a Legacy PFW system running on a Windows Server 2003 system that is being retired. The accounting department still access PFW for historic information. I need to reinstall Pervasive and PFW on a new server that is replacing the retired server. I've installed pervasive but it is asking me for an activation code. When i go to the sage portal activation codes are no longer displayed. How do i get an activation code for PERVASIVE 10.3?

Hi Nancy, is there any way you can check your records or previous support cases to see if the key was saved when it was originally generated?

I do not have any record of the key.
